Zip b&b is in the historical center of Florence, extremely close to the railway station and just a few hundred meters from the most important city monuments as well as the city fair and convention center. It is best to avoid coming to the Zip by car if possible as the historical center of Florence is a limited traffic area.

ARRIVAL BY PLANE
At both of the Florence or Pisa airports, there is a shuttle bus which will bring you to “Piazza della Stazione” just a few meters away from the Zip B&B. You can find all the relevant information on transportation from the airports at the following websites:

It is particularly convenient to get to the Zip b & b from the Florence airport. At the exit you will find the terminus of the T2 tram which, with an urban ticket that can be purchased at the stop, in just 20 minutes will take you to the opposite terminus (Unità), exactly in front of the windows of the b & b. The rides depart every 4-8 minutes.
ARRIVAL IN TRAIN
Upon your arrival in the station, with the railway at your back, take the exit on your left. Cross the street and turn to the right. Walk for about 200 meters; when you will be at the side of Santa Maria Novella Church, you will see on your left Piazza dell’Unità Italiana. We are at the end of the square on the left in the same building with a coffee bar with plants and tables outside.
ARRIVAL BY CAR, WHERE CAN I PARK?
First of all, as explained above, bringing your car into the city center can create problems for you due to the ZTL and is only possible by payment. Therefore, I encourage you, whenever possible, to use the new Park and Ride on the A1 Highway. The new exit on the AI called Villa Costanza is located between the exits Firenze Impruneta and Firenze Scandicci. There is a toll booth at the exit which serves to permit re-entry onto the highway. In the parking lot you will find the platform for the tram which will bring you to the Santa Maria Novella station in 20 minutes: just 200 meters from the Zip. If, on the other hand, you need to arrive with the car as close as possible to the B&B, you will find a convenient, and affiliated with us, private parking at 150 meters from the b & b. We are inside the Limited Traffic Area (ZTL) but entrance is allowed to access the garage. The staff will communicate to the city of Florence that your access to the ZTL area was for the purpose of parking the car.
